Tommy began his journey with a landscape design-build firm in Cincinnati, where he was first introduced to the art and science of landscape lighting. What started as a specialty within the broader landscape profession quickly became a lifelong passion.

Landscaping / Home Integration Products Distribution Experience

In the early 2000s, driven by a desire to deepen his technical knowledge and elevate industry standards, Tommy transitioned into the distribution side of the business. Working with national brands such as SiteOne, he trained contractors across the country on how to design, sell, and install low-voltage landscape lighting systems. His ability to simplify complex lighting concepts and translate them into practical, profitable applications made him a trusted educator and industry resource.

Opportunities eventually led Tommy to Hunter Industries, where for close to a decade he represented FX Luminaire, one of the leading manufacturers in the green industry. In this regional role, he partnered with landscape contractors and home integration professionals, teaching advanced lighting design principles, sales strategies, and installation techniques. His work helped shape countless successful lighting businesses while elevating the quality and creativity of outdoor lighting projects throughout his territory.

Personal Life

When he’s not talking lighting, Tommy enjoys traveling in their RV with his beautiful wife, Lori, and spending quality time with their four daughters and three grandchildren. For Tommy, both professionally and personally, it’s all about creating spaces where people can slow down, relax, and truly enjoy their surroundings.
